Greetings Everyone
It is with joy that I announce that the Government and our Bishop have permitted us to re-open our doors at Holy Rosary Parish as of Tuesday, June 16, 2020.
Please read the attached letter carefully. It has vital information that you need to know.
Our church can only hold 200 people with social distancing protocols, so since we are excused from our Sunday obligation requirements, I would like to encourage people who are able to consider a Weekday mass, as your one mass in the week you will attend.
We are uncertain of the number of people who will be returning, so I ask you for now to attend just one mass per week. If we discover we can handle the numbers, then the devotion of “Daily Mass” can be reconvened.
Please be aware that we will be entering the Church from the narthex and exiting the Church from the side exits. Please follow the direction of the directors.
Our mass times will be as follows:
Tuesday to Friday 8 am
Tuesday to Thursday 7 pm
Saturday 5 pm
Sunday 8:30, 10, and 11:30 am
The Sacrament of Reconciliation is available after the 5 pm mass and Tuesday, June 23rd, after the 7 pm mass.
(Confessions will be outside the parish office in the Marian room.)
To make all this possible, WE NEED VOLUNTEERS!!!!
Please commit yourself to a particular mass, and we need help ushering (directing people in and out), and help to disinfect the church after each service.
We need four (4) People to be Directors and four (4) People to help Disinfect.
If we don’t have the volunteers, we cannot celebrate the mass.
Please contact Corina in the office if you can help ([email protected])
Protective equipment will be provided for our volunteers, but those who arrive without a mask, masks will be made available for a donation of $1. I recommend you bring your own mask.
I am so glad that the long drought of not seeing you will soon be over and we can gather to celebrate our Faith, and break the bread of our Lord.
With a yearning heart, I hope to see you soon.
Fr. John Van Hees
