Parents and their Grade Two child are asked to come to the Parish Hall for the time indicated for their child’s First Reconciliation. There will be parish staff in the Hall to direct families and provide them with information about how they will be directed into the church for their child’s individual Reconciliation with a Priest. Please note, that the children will be given a Penance by the Priest following their Reconciliation. There will be a Penance Area in the last few pews at the back of the Church (under the balcony). The children will be directed to pray their Penance in this area, then meet their parents at the entrance to the Church and exit through the Martin Street doors.

Dress for First Eucharist Day
Clothing for Girls: Girls should be dressed in their Sunday best. White is optional. We discourage the use of gloves, veils, rosaries, jewelry, and flowers as they tend to become a distraction for the children. Girls are not to wear gloves during the Mass.
Clothing for Boys: Boys should be dressed in their Sunday best. White is optional. We suggest dress pants, a collared shirt or sweater, a jacket, and tie are optional.
