Pastor
Fr. Peter Tuyen Nguyen
Father Peter was born on
November 17, 1961 in Vietnam. He is the third of ten
children. He came to Canada in 1985. He studied
Philosophy at Christ the King Seminary in Mission,
B.C. He obtained his Master of Divinity at St.
Peter’s Seminary in London, Ontario and his Master
of Christian Studies at McMaster University in
Hamilton.
He was ordained to the priesthood on May 8, 1993 at
the Cathedral of Christ the King, Hamilton.
Father Peter served as Associate Pastor in several
parishes: Church of Our Lady in Guelph, St. Ann in
Hamilton, St. Francis Xavier in Stoney Creek and St.
Michael in Waterloo.
He served as pastor at St. Clement in St. Clements,
Canadian Martyrs in Hamilton and chaplain at
McMaster University.
Bishop Anthony Tonnos appointed him as pastor of
Holy Rosary Parish (Milton) in June 2009.

Associate Pastor
Fr. Fr. Paul Hrynczyszyn
Fr. Paul Hrynczyszyn was born in Glogow, Poland. He
and his family immigrated to Canada in 1989 and they
settled in Kitchener, Ontario. Fr. Paul entered the
seminary in 2003 and began his Philosophical studies
at St. Philip’s Seminary in Toronto. After
completing his Bachelor of Catholic Thought in 2005,
he was accepted to St. Augustine’s Seminary in
Scarborough and began his studies in Theology. In
2007, Fr. Paul spent one year in Guelph for his
pastoral year as a seminarian at St. Joseph’s
Parish. In 2008, Fr. Paul travelled to Poland and
spent a year as a seminarian working with university
students in the city of Wroclaw. After coming home
to Canada, Fr. Paul was ordained to the transitional
deaconate on June 18th, 2010. After one year of
serving as a deacon, Fr. Paul was ordained a priest
for the Diocese of Hamilton at the Cathedral of
Christ the King on May 7th, 2011. Bishop Douglas
Crosby has appointed Fr. Paul to his first
assignment as associate pastor of Holy Rosary
Parish.

Fr. Todd Arsenault,
LC, Pastoral Assistant
Fr Todd Arsenault is a priest with the Religious
Congregation Legionaries of Christ. His father was
in the RCMP throughout Nova Scotia and after
retiring early moved the family to PEI where he is a
organic dairy farmer. Fr Todd has two younger
sisters, Tawnya, a consecrated member of the Regnum
Christi Movement stationed in the Philippines and
Tracy, married with 6 children living on PEI. In
1994 at age 23 Fr Todd entered the novitiate of the
Legion of Christ in Cheshire, Connecticut. He did 8
years of seminary training in liberal arts,
philosophy and pastoral training in the USA and
Canada. In 2002 he was sent to do theology studies
in Rome in preparation for priestly ordination. He
was ordained on December 24, 2005 in the
Legionaries’ Seminary Chapel alongside 26 fellow
Legionaries at the hands of Norberto Cardinal
Rivera, Archbishop of Mexico City. In 2006 he was
sent to Toronto and Syracuse, NY to do youth work
and spiritual formation with groups of men. Since
the fall of 2009 he has been full time in the GTA
working as a spiritual director and retreat master
for men and women and assisting at local parishes
and permission was granted in the Hamilton diocese
for the Legionaries of Christ to have a residence
which is now located in Oakville. In October 2011 he
came on as a part-time staff member at Holy Rosary
